# Withdraw funds

Request unspent funds, wait for them to unlock and claim them to your wallet.

Move unspent **USDG** from your Assay balance to your account's wallet on **Robinhood Chain**. Requesting is free. After about an hour, you claim the funds with a wallet transaction that needs **ETH** for its network fee.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Before you start:** you need access to the wallet used for [Add funds](/use-tools/get-started/add-funds.md). Check your available balance in **Money → Funding**. Money held by unfinished or unpaid calls is not available to withdraw.
{% endhint %}

**Every agent's paid calls on Robinhood Chain stop while the request is open**, even if you request only part of your balance. They stay stopped until you claim or cancel. Free calls keep working.

## Steps

{% stepper %}
{% step %}

### Open Withdraw

Go to **Money → Funding** and choose **Withdraw**.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Review the amount

The drawer starts with **Use all**, the amount available to withdraw now. Enter a smaller amount if you want to leave some funds in Assay. Read the warning about paid calls stopping.

You receive up to the requested amount. It can be less if earlier paid calls reach the chain before your request. Funds held by calls are excluded from the available amount. If the drawer offers **Settle what is owed**, follow [Fix a paused or refused payment](/use-tools/when-something-goes-wrong/fix-a-payment-problem.md) first.

A new request replaces an existing request and starts the hour again; it does not add to it.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Sign the request

Tick the acknowledgement that paid calls stop and you may receive less than requested. Choose the **Request** button showing your amount and **(free)**.

Use the account's wallet to sign the withdrawal request for that amount. This is a free signature; it starts the waiting period and does not transfer the USDG to your wallet yet. Wait for **Withdrawal requested**.

{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Wait until it is ready

Return to **Money → Funding**. The withdrawal panel shows when you can claim, in UTC. The waiting period is **1 hour** after the request reaches the chain.

You do not need to keep the page open. The request does not expire if you return later. Paid calls remain paused until you finish it.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Claim to your wallet

When ready, choose **Claim** beside the amount. In **Claim your withdrawal**, check the destination wallet and payout.

Confirm the claim transaction in that wallet on **Robinhood Chain**. It needs a small network fee in **ETH** from the wallet. Wait for **Withdrawn to your wallet**; submitting the transaction alone is not confirmation.
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}

## Check it worked

Your wallet received the USDG on Robinhood Chain, **Funding** no longer shows an open request, and the withdrawal appears in its history after indexing, usually a few minutes later. Paid calls can use whatever remains in your Assay balance, provided no other payment problem is stopping them.

## If something goes wrong

| You see                                                | Do this                                                                                                                          |
| ------------------------------------------------------ | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Everything is held by calls being checked | Wait for those calls to finish, then request the available amount. |
| Money is held for unpaid calls | Use **Settle what is owed**, then withdraw what remains after collection. |
| **Not ready yet** | Wait until the time shown on **Funding**. |
| Your wallet cannot afford the network fee | Fund that wallet with ETH on Robinhood Chain, or follow the fee-help note if Assay offers one. USDG cannot pay this network fee. |
| A fee-help transfer is under way | Wait for it to arrive before signing. Reopen or reload the claim drawer to check its result. |
| The wallet request was cancelled | Check **Funding** for the current request or transaction status, then retry the unfinished action. |
| **Your account is blocked, so withdrawals are paused** | Contact Assay support to resolve the block. |

<details>

<summary>Optional: cancel before claiming</summary>

On **Money → Funding**, choose **Cancel request**. In the drawer, choose **Cancel the request (free)** and sign with your wallet. Wait for **Request cancelled**.

Nothing leaves your Assay balance. Paid calls can resume once cancellation confirms, if no other restriction applies. Closing a drawer does not cancel a submitted request.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Optional: understand network fee help</summary>

When you start a claim, Assay checks whether it can cover the network fee. Help is conditional, not guaranteed. If the drawer says it sent the fee, wait for the ETH to arrive, usually within a few seconds, then confirm in your wallet.

The help is once per address and does not reset. It may be unavailable because fees are unusually high, the day's budget is used up or the service cannot send it. If today's budget is used up, try tomorrow; if fees are high, return when they fall. Your request stays open and does not expire. You can also supply the wallet's ETH yourself.

If fee help could not be checked, assume it was not provided. If a transfer failed or the drawer cannot find a matured withdrawal, reload and try again; contact Assay support if it repeats.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.goassay.ai/use-tools/manage-your-account/withdraw-funds.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
