# 什么是 Assay

了解 Assay 为工具使用者和 API 提供方做什么，并认识最先会遇到的词语。

Assay 位于你的 AI 和它使用的付费 API 之间。它会检查每次调用返回的内容，让你不必为有问题的结果付费。提供方用质押为付费工具的质量提供保障。

## 为有用的结果付费

在 AI 为工具付款前，你可以阅读工具说明、价格和提供方质量信息。付费调用会先预留费用，检查答案后再收费。如果检查发现提供方返回的结果有问题，此次调用不收费，或将付款退回你的 Assay 余额。

* 检查内容因工具而异：格式、必需信息、时效性或相关性。收据会显示执行了哪些检查。
* 检查不能证明答案真实。
* 如实返回的空结果（例如没有匹配项的搜索）仍会收费。

## 提供方为承诺提供保障

提供方通过处理调用获取收益。他们设置价格，承诺已检查结果的失败率上限，并投入质押为付费工具提供保障。如果反复失败超出承诺，质押可能被罚没。单次调用退款和质押罚没是两个独立决定。

## 让 AI 只需连接一次

将你的 AI 应用连接到 Assay 一次，然后先进行免费调用。需要付费工具时，使用带 assay-mcp 的本地应用，充值，并在钱包中批准支出限额。托管连接器（claude.ai、ChatGPT，以及在 Claude Desktop 中添加的连接器）只能进行免费调用。

付款使用 **Robinhood Chain** 上的美元代币 **USDG**。

| -------- | ------------------------------------ |
| **智能体**  | Assay 用来归类你的 AI 调用并应用规则的身份。          |
| **工具**   | AI 可以请求执行的具名操作，有明确的输入和结果。使用一次就是一次调用。 |
| **提供方**  | 运行 API（也称为端点）、为工具提供答案的个人或企业。         |
| **托管余额** | 你存入支付合约、用于已批准工具调用的资金。它与你钱包里剩余的资金分开。  |
| **质押**   | 提供方为付费工具质量承诺留出的资金。也称为 **bond**。      |
| **暂扣**   | 为一次调用预留的资金，避免重复支出。                   |
| **补救**   | 调用失败时不收费或获得退款。                       |
